Wildling is an original mixed media work on canvas that blurs the boundary between figure and nature. A woman emerges from a dense canopy of deep emerald and chartreuse, yellow wattle blooms cascading across her shoulders and dissolving into drips of paint. Her face is half-obscured, chin lifted, mouth open — as if she is breathing the forest in or breathing it out. Lush, primal, and deeply alive.
